Lysander opens new office in Genoa

With the increase of project cargo volumes being shipped from Southern Europe, Lysander Shipping decided to establish its own office in Genoa. The new office opened in April 2006 and will arrange and co-ordinate shipments and customs formalities for project cargo and containerised cargo out of Italian and Mediterranean ports.

Over the last couple of years Italian ports have proved more and more important for us with large volumes of steel products, plant equipment and pipe shipments to both North/West Africa and the Middle East. We foresee this trend to continue and with our new Genoa office we will be ideally located to give our customers a professional and local service.

The office is manned by staff from Lysander - Denmark in addition to local shipping staff.
