162 TONNE TO KOREA
Lysander Shipping recently organised the transportation of a 162 tonne unit from Antwerp to Korea.
We received the unit from the vendor by barge and arranged for it to be transferred to SPMT trailer in Antwerp, ready to be shipped by RORO vessel.
Although such cargo is not usually suitable for a RORO vessel, we were able to agree a solution with the carrier whereby the unit would be loaded and lashed on stools, which is why an SPMT trailer was necessary.
The cargo was supervised during loading and departed for Korea on Glovis Safety in September.
