Transformers to Abu Dhabi
In January, Lysander Shipping arranged for the shipment of 4 transformers (measuring 600 x 350 x 400cm at 55000kgs each) from the UK Midlands, via London Gateway, to Abu Dhabi for BIFP project.
The transformers shipped alongside 8x 40GP containers with cargo which was collected loose and stuffed at our nominated warehouse.
As you can see from thetime-lapse videos and photos, the transformers were offloaded to mafi trailers at Port and then moved alongside vessel to load as Break Bulk cargo in the hold of the container ship.
We arranged for a surveyor to be present to oversee the secure loading and lashing of the cargo throughout, the cargo arrived on schedule and was safely received by the consignee in the Middle East.
